i keep getting a surreal feeling abt the surroundings i am in nowadays... like sitting ard at esplanade with the se pple, taking e mrt wif cornellians... takes a while for me to get used to being back i guess? cant believe that 2003 is ending too... it seems strange tt we started sch not too long ago and now e yr is ending! still prefer our academic yr to coincide with e calendar. anw shall resist e temptation to come up wif a list of new year's resolutions since they are invariably the same every yr n i nv think abt them after today... just a little saddened to see how unintellectual/unmotivated i haf become... e.g. i laze ard in bed reading past issues of 8 days wif a relish, yet its so hard for me to bring myself to turn a single page of e economist mags tt i lugged back home... e.g. was telling my mum how easy it was to earn an A+ for earth sci n tt i must go look for similar classes to take nx time instead of working my butt off for govt... n she said: but is tt wat u want to make of ur university education? which made me realize tt i dun care anymore abt wat i'm learning... sigh. i do need a proper goal in life! not too long ago i did haf dreams of being a great lawyer, working in the civil service, working for the un, yet suddenly i dun really want to do anything anymore... ahh i cant be having a midlife crisis at 19!! hmm well juz hope i can find some direction soon...
heh ok enuff abt depressing stuff... as my mum said b4, it might help if i focus more on the ppl ard me instead of thinking abt my own 'problems' (albeit self-created) all e time...

finally figured out how to do the archives thingy... this morning woke up then suddenly xin xue lai chao, visited yuwen's blog n realized tt i juz needed to create a link... haha. read my old entries n they sounded kinda strange... haf i really changed tt much in 4 mths?? hmmm. and i shud cut down on my use of exclamation marks...
