The stranger sang a theme

From someone else's dream

The leaves began to fall

And no one spoke at all

But I can't seem to recall

When you came along

two years on, im not sure if my answer would still be the same. ping ping dan dan may well be the easier path, but it's inevitable sometimes that when stuff happens, everything comes at one go... your emotions are taken on a rollercoaster ride - shock, disappointment, disillusionment, hurt, liberation, relief, embarrassment, reassurance.... i think i've learnt a lot about people in the past few weeks. good or bad i dunno. i remember someone once telling me that we are all here to make the best of life for ourselves... maybe sometimes it's better not to judge too much. n then you marvel at how easy it is to detach yourself from reality (or is it the other way round).

that was not supposed to make much sense by the way. one of my feeble attempts at trying to sound cryptic!! due to the influence of some blogs tt i've read recently, no doubt =p. forgive me, i stayed up till 3 last night to do this sample econ midterm cos we had to go thru it during section today... n somehow even the uris library couches have failed to live up to their usual sleep-inducing ability so here i am typing away. haha hope i don't fall asleep skiing down the slopes tonight!

hafta do a crash course in roman history now cos my prof thinks tt we know everything liao... anw i was surfing the net and found this - "The Western Empire was predominantly Latin; the Eastern Empire was predominantly Greek"
haha so everyone was right after all! now if only other things can be so easily resolved...

15 min naps at 1am dun work very well do they... haha oh well. anw went to watch passion of christ yest, found it quite moving tho the entire torture/cruxification thing was a little too drawn-out... n i liked how the portrayal of jesus was quite balanced betwn his 'human' and 'holy' aspects.. (dunno if tt was the intended effect; christians may beg to differ)
oh realized tt my knowledge of ancient history is pretty pathetic too! heh but now i'm more inspired to study for my econ history class...
not bad a weekend i muz say... even if i nv go to jazz bars or parties like certain pple *AHEM!* a trip to tops (the supermarket) was sufficiently rewarding cos i got my sara lee cake n sapporo brand maggi to supplement my cqyd.... haha oh no this makes cornell seem so ulu... hai. nvm at least we have our dimsum (albeit substandard) at sunday brunches!!
kk back to work!!
