i'm home! hmm many blog-worthy incidents on the hk trip but it's hard to remember the funniest ones when writing in retrospect leh... let's see... the flight there on valuair was really amusing, cos the air stewardess(es) sang songs, led 'us' into doing cheers/exercises and chatted with nearly every passenger... flight back was just like the usual though, but worse cos we foolishly agreed to sit at the the emergency exit row cos of the "extra legroom"... only to find out later on tt the seats there could not be reclined!! and we didn't even need the extra legroom lor... bleah.

and to quote xy, "hk is a land of juxtapositions" - it's very strange cos like all the posh and grand buildings will be right next to really old/rundown/squalid ones! i mean REALLY dilapidated looking ones tt are black with filth and goodness knows what. somemore water from dubious sources will drip down when we're walking along the congested streets... oh no i should stop complaining lest i sound like a spoilt singaporean but really lor all this just made me appreciate what we have here so much more! heh though areas like Central (our shenton way equivalent) and the Peak are so much nicer... and their food!!!! omg. dun get me started... we anyhow hum-tum any restaurant also soooo nice n cheap!!!! wah can't believe it... the yun tun mian had like 10 huge yuntuns! and their dimsum... oh man.... "fang fu hui dao mu qin de huai bao zhong" is barely enuff to express our states of ecstasy... =ppp

shopping wise... sighhhh... i would say it was a little disappointing... got some really good buys at espirit and argyle center (sth like far-east basement) but otherwise so many places were either too ex (all the upmarket ones) or too cheap (selling stuff in loud garish colours)!! i can't stand it when we can't try the clothes too... if it's like the this fashion sort of shop i can understand but when it's like 20 or 30 sing dollars per piece how on earth do they expect customers to buy without trying?!?!?! grrr. but shopping's a topic close to my heart... better not get carried away writing.... hehe. anw it was really fun going on a mdxcdx trip... in spite of how tiring it was!! nx time it should be alternated with stay-in-hotel-to-watch-shows days... haha

hmm still got many more "adventures" to write abt lor, like leaving behind xy's digicam in a shopping center and finding it back, going for a pseudo roller-coaster ride in a shopping center n screaming our heads off until everyone was staring at us... keke.. but gotta start getting ready liao... gonna indulge in more retail therapy soon.... =))
