blogger is finally working again! couldn't publish my last entry for 2 whole days... haha but this gives me a good opportunity now to broadcast the fact that i passed my driving test!!! woohoo~~ not that i suddenly have super confidence in myself as a driver... still need to work on my sense of direction! haha. just that it's like one more milestone in adulthood... as much as i dread being/becoming one... heh. and it's such a feeling of empowerment to be behind the steering wheel (read: sense of freedom and independence)...
one thing that i've yet to develop tho is a love for cars.... honestly i dun really care much as long as it has 4 wheels and can move! haha. today my housemates were having a discussion about cars and i knew zilch abt the whatever 3/5/6/7 series of whatever brand... come to think abt it i never even noticed what type of car my instructor was using! i'm happy enough if i can rem the car plate number lor cos the car plates here are so confusing... absolutely no system as far as i can tell....
but maybe things will change over time... just as how i've finally gotten down to applying for an amex card... will NEVER EVER understand why some people (guys in particular i think) are fixated about building credit history and applying for a million credit cards... M&T has served me very well for one whole year! if not for the fact that the amex card is pretty cool looking (transparent with a shimmery blue logo in the center) i'll not even bother applying lor... keke.
haha somehow suddenly i get the feeling that despite doing these 'adult' things like driving and having credit cards i've still got a long way to go... many things to change about myself... and many things to learn... hmm.

yay just watched amazing race on tv... there's apprentice season 2 (muahaha the benefits of being in the US) on thursday too =)) unfortunately the tv shows during the daytime/ weekends are rather sucky... but less distractions i guess...
updates... been cooking quite a fair bit, and no major mishaps so far (except for a pyrex glass bowl explosion - but that had nothing to do with me! except maybe i should have been more insistent about not putting it on the stove... keke)... it's also ironic that i'm starting to relate a lot more to my mum about stuff like household chores nowadays... used to disagree with her about certain ways of cooking/cleaning but now that she's not around, i find that i'm just following her 'instructions' on my own accord...
school-wise... well, accounting is not exactly the most thrilling subject around... the 101 terms are driving me nuts too. but "psych and law" is pretty interesting, as is "social networks and processes"... though the latter has also made me more keenly aware of a deficiency in the social aspect of my life... sigh. think i'm becoming more and more AS liao... can't seem to make the effort to go out and do things. AND i have 8.40 classes from mondays to thursdays!! -those classes are not even compulsory.... something tells me i have a sadist streak within me- haha but i like ending my days early lah so there has to be a tradeoff somewhere i guess...
okie gotta go back to homework... gonna haf a bday celebration for our dear luke later on...
