the number of blog entries here varies with the amount of studying that i have to do too! sheesh. just did a v naughty thing before this somemore... indulged in an episode of xiao gai zi... make that my FAV episode (and the only one i brought over heh). i luuuurve the scene where ming tai is left behind by the taxi!!! it's soooooooo sad. i think i'm a bit siao, i've watched it like 10 times or something before... but i must say that sob-inducing shows are really quite a good stress reliever, and now i feel much more awake... hahaha.
heh was still gloating over how this semester has gone by snow-free, but overnight things have changed indeed! haiz. haven't seen the sight of a snow-covered field for such a long time, and trust me i did not miss it at all.... dread the idea of taking out dinner thrash or doing laundry in the snow man......
hmm... this is becoming a discussion of distractions from studying ah... heh. but ya, i also read an article abt the quest for the perfect GPA at cornell..... (http://cornell-magazine.cornell.edu/Archive/1999janfeb/Jan4.3.html) pretty thought-provoking... but i'm wondering why nobody from my college was featured... esp when it's (arts & sciences) the largest 'faculty' around here lor... a sign, perhaps? hm. =p and it's certainly not very encouraging to read a comment from a professor who says that he doesn't like giving out A+s (he'll give like 2/3 in a class of 250 students).... esp when he's the prof of the class that i'm taking! heh not that i expected anything otherwise lah. grading for that class is pretty weird too... how can the median grade of an essay be a perfect score???
well enuff crap for now...... back to work...... oh no i feel like watching my qiu tian discs liao..... temptations abound!!
